Vehicle Handling and Brakes
We’ve equipped the CODA with systems to help you maintain control while driving. The Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) prevents wheels from locking up in sudden stops, the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system activates when it detects loss of steering control by applying brake pressure to individual wheels to help maintain your steering input and Traction Control helps limit tire slip under acceleration.

To better protect you, we use materials that are both strong and flexible. For state-of-the art structural integrity, we used high-strength steel.
Hands-Free Communication
Your CODA comes fully-equipped with hands-free calling, one-button answer, and auto-answer via Bluetooth®.
Emergency Roadside Assistance

Airbags
In your CODA, you are surrounded with two advanced front airbags, two front seat-mounted side airbags, and two side curtain airbags. Our smart front airbags are engineered to deploy at different forces for low and high speed crashes.
Child Protection
Drive with confidence knowing that you can protect your young passengers With rear-door child locks and a LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) system which helps simplify the installation of child restraints.
Battery Design and Management System
Not only did we use one of the safest battery chemistries (Lithium Iron Phosphate) available, we engineered our Battery Management System (BMS) and Thermal Management System (TMS) to protect against overcharging, overheating or short circuiting. Additionally, if airbags are deployed in an accident, CODA’s BMS is designed to disconnect the battery in two places to help prevent risk of shock to drivers, passengers, and first responders.
